
ABOUT ME
I am a fitness instructor, mom of 3, and a big fan of feeling awesome in my skin. Born and raised in Ohio, I have always had a love of sports and competition which led me to competitive swimming, collegiate crew and representing my country as a competitive freediver.
However, my career in hotels and starting a family had me naturally shift gears and priorities. During my third pregnancy, I felt a calling to follow my passion into fitness and became a fitness instructor. My foundation is pre and post-natal fitness and has evolved into coaching both men and women at all fitness levels.
Through my work, I've had countless conversations with women who are doing the balancing act of raising families, working and trying to be the healthiest version of themselves, yet struggle to do so. Either they fall off track within a few days or the diet over-complicates their already busy life. It is with these women in mind that I created Britt Flahive Wellness, to propel women seeking change into ACTION.
I've been there. I, too, have felt so overwhelmed with responsibilities that my own health took a back seat and it became a vicious cycle of poor habits. It was no way to live! So I put into place a simple system that would make being healthy second nature. When we eat well, it has a ripple effect in all areas of our life. But that, alone, isn't enough. The system has to be simple, sustainable, and family friendly to be effective long term. I use a customized approach to take your unique situation into consideration. You have the capacity to feel light, healthy, and in control of your health.
